Microsoft will remove the "EnableHoldTheFile" group policy for OneDrive in May 2025. Users will be able to choose how to handle file conflicts. Admins should review configurations and notify users. No admin action is required. More details are available on the Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 429875.
