Microsoft Teams is releasing user experience improvements for Multi-Tenant Organization (MTO) users. These improvements include a richer profile for users from other MTO tenants, the ability to perform a name-based search for users from other MTO tenants, and the removal of 1:1 chat split across multiple threads.
