Microsoft 365 is promoting channel creation by elevating the channel creation option to the top, making it easier for users to create channels. This will reduce team proliferation and difficulty in managing teams. End-users will be able to create channels in a channel of their choice, and they need to pick the right team they want to host channels in. The rollout will begin in early January 2024 and is expected to complete by mid-April 2024.
