Starting mid-October 2026, Microsoft Purview will remove the pay-as-you-go billing requirement for inline collection and DLP policies protecting unmanaged cloud apps in Microsoft Edge for Business. Existing policies and protections remain unchanged, no action is required, and billing checks will be removed for this scenario.
