Microsoft Edge will retire Manifest V2 (MV2) extensions by early 2027, fully switching to Manifest V3 (MV3) for improved security and performance. MV2 extensions will be disabled, blocked from new installs, and policies supporting MV2 removed. Enterprises must migrate to MV3 before the deprecation deadline.
