MC1449180 — Microsoft Purview: Data Loss Prevention and auto-labeling support for non-Microsoft applications

Microsoft Purview will support Data Loss Prevention and auto-labeling for non-Microsoft applications like Google Workspace, Box, and Salesforce via Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps connectors. Administrators can create and manage policies directly in Purview starting mid-August 2026, expanding compliance and data protection capabilities.
