Microsoft is introducing multimodal capture in OneNote Copilot Notebooks on Windows, allowing users to record audio, images, and notes together. Copilot generates summaries and action items from this content. The feature rolls out worldwide from late September to mid-October 2026, requires a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, and can be disabled by admins.
