Microsoft is adding explicit grounding in Excel Agent, letting users upload files to improve AI analysis and insights across multiple datasets and file types. This feature, enabled by default, rolls out globally from April to June 2026, requires no admin changes, and enhances AI relevance by using user-provided data.
