Copilot in SharePoint will roll out as an opt-out preview starting mid-June 2026 for Microsoft 365 Copilot licensed users. It enables AI-powered content creation and management via a chat interface, respects user permissions, and offers admin controls for tenant or site-level opt-in/out and customization.
