Microsoft Purview is adding a new Data Loss Prevention (DLP) control for Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat to exclude external emails from being used in AI responses. Rolling out from June 2026 (preview) to early 2027 (general availability), this admin-enabled feature enhances data security without affecting email delivery or retention.
