Microsoft Purview is adding a new DLP policy control to restrict Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat from processing emails from external or untrusted domains. This feature, off by default, will roll out from June 2026 (preview) to early 2027 (general availability) and requires admin configuration.
