Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management will introduce a pay-as-you-go billing model for "Other AI apps" indicators in generative AI apps starting April 1, 2026. Microsoft Copilot indicators remain license-based. An Azure subscription must be linked for PAYG billing; no changes to policy workflows or user impact unless opted in.
