Microsoft Teams will add a setting allowing users to choose whether pressing Enter sends a message or starts a new line (with Ctrl/Cmd+Enter to send). This update rolls out from late February to mid-March 2026 for Desktop and Web, requires no admin action, and includes contextual hints.
