Microsoft Teams is introducing a new Teams Reader role in the admin center, providing read-only access to most settings without edit rights. It will roll out worldwide from June 2025. Some areas remain inaccessible. Global admins can assign this role via Microsoft Entra or Microsoft 365 admin centers. No action is needed before rollout.
