SharePoint Alerts will be fully retired by July 2026. New alert creation will be phased out starting July 2025, with alerts expiring after 30 days from October 2025. Users should transition to Power Automate or SharePoint Rules for notifications. Admins should assess impact and prepare support accordingly.
